Fantastic warranty service

In 2005 I bought a new house and installed six Hunter ceiling fans. When I sold it in 2018 all six worked perfectly. The replacement home had ceiling fans in the master bedroom, living room, and dining room, and while they weren't hunters, they appear to have worked flawlessly since the home was built in 1993, and I'm not one to stand in the way of success. For some reason the second bedroom didn't have a fan so I installed this Hunter and as expected it works well and the room is much more comfortable. A small problem with the installation was that there was no ceiling joist near the fan. and my ceiling was constructed in such a way that there was no access from above to install anything fixed. So I cut a hole in the ceiling, measured to the nearest ceiling joists, designed a support to rest on both joists and the ceiling drywall, fed it through the enlarged hole along with lots of glue and let it dry overnight. Should last as long as the house. Hunter has redesigned the ceiling mount and is now much easier to install. After the bracket has been screwed into the ceiling, all that remains is to install the fan in it. My loft in Phoenix, Arizona is well over 120F so I'm waiting for December to do some permanent wiring. Update 07/18/2019: Hard wiring installed at the end of November and now the installation looks professional. .but the fan made an annoying clicking noise. I took it apart, couldn't find anything that looked like the source of the noise, put it back together and the noise was gone. A few months later he's back and it's definitely annoying. Update 7/27/2019: Called Hunter warranty service, they said this is covered by their lifetime warranty, all it takes is my name/address and proof of purchase. As we chatted, they emailed to attach a POP. I clipped them from my Revain orders and emailed them back before we ended the conversation. Fast and easy. A brand new ceiling fan was dispatched same day, it arrived today, I replaced the motor (everything else was fine), put the ticker in the box and mailed it to me using the prepaid postage label Hunter emailed FedEx. No tick. Hunter truly believes in happy customers and I'm one of them. Highly recommended.
