I've had this for a few days and now I've made two batches of ice cream - that's four scoops in total. But this thing works pretty much as advertised. The balls are very crunchy and pretty easy to make. But it takes up quite a bit of freezer space (considering you only get two scoops) and the instructions say it takes 24 hours, not 4-6 as the description says. I've left it in the freezer for a full 24 hours each time and it works great. I didn't have much trouble getting it out of the styrofoam container and the balls out of the mold. I placed the frozen balls in a ziplock bag and placed them back in the freezer for future use. It doesn't make ice quickly and you need to build up an "inventory" if you want to use them for a party. But again, it produces two large and VERY transparent spheres about every 24 hours.
