Does not lay flat on mounting surface
I bought these mounting brackets to use on a 1/2" black pipe. I tried mounting on a board but when the yoke is fully connected to the tube the mounting lugs are about 1/4 inch. " across the board on either side. You can work with other types of pipe, but not standard black iron pipe.
