I'm using this table as my under the desk laptop stand. I've the laptop hooked up via it's docking station to two monitors on the desk. It's just perfect for this purpose, I use the top shelf for the laptop, the bottom tray to hold my power cord and to store my keyboard and mouse when I'm done with work.It's made from a hard plastic, although not as rugged as a metal stand, it fills the need very well. It wouldn't be a stand to put a lot of weight on, but it would easily handle a printer on top and a few reams of paper under, or as I have it, a laptop/docking station on top and misc pieces and parts under.The only bad thing I have to say is it's now $11 cheaper today then when I bought it. But even at full price it's a bargain. Most other stands that I looked at were $50 and more for the same functionality.
