Mine seemed to burn constantly for about 40 minutes, even outside. therefore, an expected burn time of 30 to 50 minutes is accurate. ONE stick out of 500 burned out, and I also burned out on a windy day outside! Amazing quality. Aroma. Oh God! I opened the package and even before I opened the seal on the package my room was filled with such a sweet, pleasant aroma! It was very, very cute. I could eat it! Then I lit one and ran around the house with it. The smell was strong when first burned, but as the smoke dissipates, the smell softens leaving a sweeter scent behind. however, still plagued by great sadness, they smacked their nostrils with spicier tones. I definitely remember carnations and flower nectar. but not a strong carnation. I love the scent! Not woody at all! Again, be careful! Update February 14, 2014 - I loved them so much I just bought another pack of 500 for $14.99. UPDATE 18 February 2014 - WARNING. My second batch was NOTHING like the first batch! I literally threw away my second order. it smelled like I had just lit a stick (even before I lit it!), the smell of spices in it wasn't incense, just the spicy smell of myrrh and sandalwood. but I had to throw them away as they really affected my allergies and caused migraines. POSSIBLE GOOD NEWS UPDATE. Still confused by the difference in quality and the nightly and daily reviews of this product, I couldn't just ignore it and had to investigate further. It seems that I bought this incense for the first time in NATURAL COSMETICS. When I backordered my previous orders, I noticed the price had gone up, but thought I'd pay a dollar more for this incense! I did NOT realize that the seller cheated me out of DIVINE PRODUCTS! That may very well be the difference I experience. As soon as my account is credited, I will definitely order from NATUR-KOSMETIK again. I will update the rating later. Again, I give the product 5 stars for NATURAL COSMETICS. Also, the first order I got from NATURKOSMETIK at 13.99 was a dollar cheaper than the crappy orders I got at 14.99. what what? So far I haven't noticed any difference in the company names. the boxes of both orders look the same. If you are covered in red and still look wet with oils and smell good, then you have come across good products from NATURKOSMETIK. But if they all come together in one pack smelly and gummy like the other picture, then they're from DIVINE PRODUCTS. They're both written by the same person above, so be sure to look for the seller under the main heading. Ordered from NATURKOSMETIK on 02/20/14. Let me know if my suspicions were correct. Updated 02/24/14. just got incense (also 2 days early). As expected they were good. So be sure to buy from NATURKOSMETIK! You will be surprised how you lived without them! Updated 3/4/14. this time I was not enthusiastic about the quality of NATURKOSMETIK. but they were NOT as bad as the other company. I got in touch with NATURKOSMETIK to find out why there is such a dramatic difference. They replied that they switched suppliers due to cost reasons but are working to return to the original supplier. I don't know how much stock they have to sell before they get an old supplier and amazing incense sticks. but if i notice good things are back i will let you know!
