Review on Optimized Reef Octopus 152-S Protein Skimmer by Jenna Willis

This is my favorite skimmer and I've had several (mostly reef octopus). installed in minutes. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble and install it on my system after a quick flush. My original skimmer stopped working properly, I left town the next day so I wasn't sure how the break-in would go. I adjusted the water level to around 7-8 inches (just below the outlet tube) and the next day it had a perfect head of foam. After talking to my tanker it worked great and by the end of the first week I had several inches of dark brown skimmat! Without any run-in time! Months later I still love him. I haven't had any overflows due to dosing/feeding.
