Review on 🐠 OASE Filtosmart Thermo Indoor Aquatics by Jami Harrison

Worst product I have ever bought for an aquarium or outside of the Amazon. The flow it produces is less than my 10 gallon whisper filter. Even without anything in the filter I got a trickle out of this filter. In the photo, the filter works without absolutely nothing in it. I started having problems in the tank that I couldn't understand. I've researched and researched and spent so much money replacing other aspects of the tank and it never helped. Literally hundreds of dollars were spent trying to figure out why my fish were dying and why my plants were rotting. The last thing I would suspect is that my oversized, overpriced filter was the problem. I mean when you hear someone has an OASE canister filter you think oh that's the Bentley of filters right? Don't fall for this crap. This was by far the worst aquascaping purchase I have ever made. I lost my entire fish stock due to an illness caused by standing water. I lost all my plants due to a fungal disease also caused by standing water. The worst part wasn't even the money in the plans, but how long I had been growing these plants. Anubius grows forever and in this tank I had an Anubius that I had grown for years that I couldn't save. I really love this hobby, but until I realized what the problem was I was close to giving it up. I have a 72 gallon tank that I wanted to run OASE on and I won't make that mistake again. At least that's what I found out before I started this tank.
