Above all. You need a little automotive experience and common sense. Most of the bad reviews I've read are user error. Removed the lower panel under the steering column. Then I removed the covers around the steering wheel and pulled out the ignition as instructed in the instructions. I had the old design and this kit has a new design that is amazing. I removed my old toggle switch and marked it on the sheet provided so you can reuse your original key without having to reprogram it if you use your original ignition key. Everything reinstalled and works like clockwork.
