This is interesting because I was actually looking for eco-friendly paper plates and have ordered ones made from wheat straw and sugar cane fibers in the past, which remind me a bit of sun foam. However, they are heavier and thicker and more like light but stiff corrugated wood bowls than plates, which also explains their relatively high price. They are clearly made up of large pressed leaves. Interesting. I feel like their durability means they can be wiped down and reused multiple times. Haven't tried tossing them in the sink to soak or wash yet.
