I've always found this particular model of blade to give excellent results. This is a very inexpensive blade that still gives a very close shave. I use a Qshave adjustable razor, usually set at a 4.5 or 5, and get a very close shave with no nicks. I use Proraso and Arco shaving soaps as well as a few others and get a very close and close shave. The blade is both sharp and soft if you press too hard. I have a very thick beard but I can get 4 very good shaves with each blade. That means a pack of 100 gives me 400 shaves! At under $8 for 100 blades, this is a hell of a deal. A multi-year shave for less than EIGHT DOLLARS! When I shave I use the edge of the blade where you can see the first and third shave settings. I used the opposite edge of this for the second and fourth shaves. Thus, each edge of the blade is used in approximately the same way. After that, I'd rather change the blade. If you really want to be economical, you could probably shave a few more times with the same blade.
