The date of manufacture is stamped on the packaging so you know they are fresh.
These appear to be top quality batteries. So far, I have used one which has been in service for a couple of days so it is impossible for me to judge if these will prove to have been a good choice 3 or 4 years from now. In my 35 years of maintaining computers and IT, I have made it a policy to replace backup batteries every 4 years. Of the 100 or so that I have swapped out in that time, I have never had one fail prior to replacement. Hopefully, these will not disappoint.
