Review on 🔦 HYB H11 6000K Xenon HID Bulb Replacement Kit for H8 H9 Headlights (Pack of 2) by Gregory Sirgio

Bought these bulbs to upgrade the halogens on my 2014 CR-Z. After installation, the brightness is good, much better than halogens. Now I can see much further and the light is much cleaner and brighter than the dirty yellow of the stock bulbs. Unfortunately, the quality of the lamps appears questionable. First, even though I ordered 6000K bulbs, they give light closer to 8000K (white with a noticeable bluish cast). In my case it works as I use 55w ballasts which lowers the color temperature but most people use 35w ballasts and so end up with 8000k color. The rubber gasket on the bulbs is not very consistent so I had to replace one of the bulbs with a gasket on a standard bulb to get good light. The other bulb was facing up and gave a very faint beam, so I had to cover the bottom with a thick piece of aluminum foil and use a knife to cut thin slices from the top to make it thinner. After that, the lamp really sat properly and gave the right light. The last problem I had was the lamp connector not fitting into the car connector because the locking tab on the lamp was in the wrong place. To prevent the connector from coming loose I used some hot glue to secure them in place. So far the hot glue has worked great and is easy to remove if needed. I can't comment on durability as I've only had it for a week. I'll update this if anything goes wrong.
