This is handicraft. The hearts are supplied separately with two ribbons and two plastic pins. You need to assemble it by yourself. It's okay, but if the product details say you can adjust the space between hearts, that's because you assemble it yourself. Duct tape is very cheap. As I tied it, the hard felt of the hearts tore the ribbon apart and the result was a torn pulp. The ribbon basically fell apart so I pulled it out and took a red squiggle ribbon and threaded hearts on it. On the plus side, I didn't need all of the hearts to show off my robe, so I used the leftover hearts to make another craft. I paid a lot for this.
