My wife and I have several Dell Inspiron laptops that we use on our travels. They all use the same input voltage but have two different sized power connectors. Being able to power our computers from the bus's 12V DC sockets saves us from having to use an external voltage converter, run our generator or connect to the 120V AC mains on land. Charger so it can be used with all of our Dell laptops. This car charger is much more efficient than two power conversions resulting from using an inverter and it works flawlessly.
