OWC Envoy Pro EX Smokes Well

Ok, it's coming that depends, but here's mine. I just bought a new 2019 iMac i9, 2TB 27" SSD. I'm a bit of a backup freak. Coming from a 2009 Mac Pro (max with a 1TB PCI drive and 4 internal drive bays, 9 external drives etc .etc.) So I wanted something to back up my new iMac 27." Did a lot of research. and settled on the OWC Envoy Pro EX. While waiting for the Envoy drive to arrive (the Revain was shipped within Delivered 24 hours), I tried to make a backup on an old hard drive. That's how it was. The backup size is 600 GB. First backup: Sada Drive took 5 hours and 45 minutes and could not start. Second attempt on the same drive 2 Hours and works fine but very slow to load and use Third, the OWC Envoy Pro EX arrived and plugged it in, waited an hour to 1 1/2 hours "actual time to back up 600GB. It took 14 minutes! Smoke". Recommend OWC Envoy Pro EX. I've always believed that OWC has solid Mac products and this time was no different.

Pros
  • MIL-STD810G certified shock-absorbing bumper is built in a tough, thin and stylish aluminum body and provides strong military-grade protection against drops and bumps required for portable drives
Cons
