My life just got a little easier. I used my phone with a DJI Mavic Pro controller. I decided that I wanted to get a broader view of flying my drone and for that I had to use one of my iPads. The search was on. I have studied many brackets on the internet. All had their pros and cons. Some of the holders were plastic and not that strong. Some of them securely attached to the iPad but didn't allow the operator to see the controller and also left little room for your hands to operate the controller. This mount had none of those issues. The bracket was aluminum and very strong. The spring-loaded metal mount allows you to install it on any 7-10 screen and hold your iPad or tablet safe and secure. The mount is reversible so the iPad does not cover the controller screen but can be mounted under the controller giving you a clear view of the controller screen. Working in this position is also very pleasant. One of the best features is that it takes seconds to install. And when it's done, it folds completely flat to about 1 inch. This makes it easy to store. Of all the mounts I researched, this one best suited my needs. Fantastic purchase based on the low price. It exceeded my expectations.
