More resources go into making LED bulbs - and the justified expectation is that they should and can last a long time. However - with this bulb - First I bought a pack of four, two of which flickered right from the start; so I ordered two more packs of four (for the same look) AND processed a return whereby Best Buy waived my sending the first pack of four back - resulting in 10 functional bulbs for the price of 8 - for a chandelier that takes 8 bulbs. Since more bulbs kept failing every three months or so since then I swapped in the extras and eventually (since they are very bright) gave up on having 8 working bulbs in my chandelier. At this point I whittled all of those 12 bulbs down to three that still function in my 8 bulb chandelier. time to reorder and go through the same process? Very likely.
