So they're not all EXACTLY the same shirts (and honestly, what are they these days?). Some are a little shorter, some quite long. Some have a square fit and some have a tight fit. Those without a pocket are more durable, while those with a pocket are softer and more elastic. It just depends what you are looking for. In my opinion this is a good "between sizes" option - too big to be medium, too small to be really "large" but right in the middle of what I need...! Some are skinny, some aren't - I would read "thin" as code for "smaller than just normal size", not necessarily more tapered or a different cut. The material is nice and heavy, feels good material and weight. For 6 decent shirts for $30 I have nothing to complain about!
