Purchased on a Freelander 2 in the year 2022 in the size 235/65/17 with the intention of using them in Hong Kong. Soft, the car's behavior on the road is predictable, it does not walk or dig into the pavement, and it has a high level of directional stability. On ice and compacted snow, of course, it requires extra careful behavior just like any other non-studded footwear would. Has some pros: Good tires that allow you to move safely throughout the winter season, slow down in a predictable manner, ABS that only chirps on ice and rolling snow, otherwise on the tracks without worry, and brakes that work effectively in both wet and dry conditions. Various disadvantages: Has a strong aversion to ruts and increased tire wear (which is more likely caused by the driver's driving style, high weight, and power).
