At the moment, I already have something to compare with, my first soundbar was yamaha srt 1000, then sony ht ct790, st5000, bose soundbar 500, all of them have my reviews on the market, so yamaha ysp 5600 is currently the best that I had from soundbars. I’ll warn you right away to use it without a subwoofer - it’s pointless (I bought the ns sw200 model to it) - it’s inexpensive and fits perfectly, and thanks to the adapter, the subwoofer is wireless (but you can also connect it via wire). I also note that it is advisable to place the subwoofer from the side of the soundbar, and not from the side of the sofa, the sound is much more consistent in frequencies. About auto-calibration with a microphone: I experimented with both manual tuning and with a microphone - I liked manual tuning through the on-screen menu more, although it is longer, but the result was quite different for the better. The room in which the soundbar is located is 35 meters, which has a window and curtains on the right (which obviously absorb sound), the instructions say that if this is the situation, you need to move the curtains apart for the time of auto-calibration, and moved it apart and moved it - I didn’t understand the difference, that’s why I decided manually set up (the menu is in 2022), as a result, after two hours of experimentation, I caught the sound that I expected, and it is really voluminous, from all sides, I tried both blues and apple tv as a source, and playstation 4 - very pleased . (By the way, the greedy Yamaha company does not include an hdmi cable and a bracket for hanging on the wall - and this is another 8000 on top), so I didn’t hang it, but simply put it on the cabinet, there are stands in the kit. I will not describe the functionality - everything is on the Internet, I am 100 percent satisfied with the purchase.
