.
- The sound is really big.
- Yamaha has absolutely, absolutely, absolutely no tech support. To get technical support, you need to get a verified account. To get an account, you need to scan the QR code from the leaflet in the box. But the page is out of date. Here the projector stopped responding to the remote control, I have been sitting for half a day, looking for how to get to the Yamaha assistant. Hike need to call amazon. The smartphone app that is supposed to replace the remote control (HT Controller) does not work with the YSP-5600. You can use it somehow - it turns on / off using the MusikCast application, but apart from choosing the sound source and volume, it can do nothing.
- Cool sound, functionality for 10 points, build quality
- Expensive, accessories for an additional fee, auto-calibration
- Very good sound, almost the same as in a cinema with Dolby Atmos. I mean, it really works. Another thing is that it is not easy to achieve the correct operation of the system. Personally, I really liked the design - nothing screams and no cheap effects, everything is very serious and functional. Outsiders see just a rounded black box, covered with a fine mesh. And you see 32 point emitters that form 5 midrange sound beams in real time. Acoustic waves calculated/composed according to the principle of superposition scatter in the given directions and form a sound picture. Plus, 12 emitters are directed upwards and add a vertical dimension according to the same principle. Plus 2 woofers give low frequencies that do not need localization.
- I had to separately buy a special wall mount, buy a subwoofer. In general, these are not disadvantages. The remote control is an ordinary Yamakhovskiy one, probably its layout was invented 30 years ago. What is really sad - there is not enough technical information on the principles of the system functioning in different sound modes, something has to be selected by random, by ear. The zone of really cool sound turns out to be small, more suitable for egoists or lovers.
- Really surround sound, powerful, self-tuning with a microphone, everything you need is included.
- Expensive, the height of the panel, you need to buy a subwoofer separately, the bass is rather weak, complicated manual tuning, does not let hdr through.
- One of the few systems that tries to separate the sound, functionality, channel by channel.
- Partly large, the sound is certainly not the one you want to hear.
- Large selection of connectors, bluetooth, Wi-Fi. It is convenient to turn on / control music from your phone.
- Unreasonably expensive. When turned off, it emits a nasty quiet squeak.
