Let me start by saying I have used MANY fans for many projects. All kinds of brands and all kinds of sizes... This little guy is PUCKING ASS. I was really impressed. I've ruled out either server level power but very noisy, or a quiet whisper but little airflow. Well, no, you get a 40mm wind machine that moves your hair from 3 feet away and is about as loud as the average person's whisper. It's not quiet, but in terms of performance versus volume, I'm surprised it's NOT MUCH louder. This is about half the size of most server files, even at maximum capacity. In operation, however, it offers even better performance than standard server fans. This little guy is really impressed. I will definitely be using this exact fan for any high temp compact project I will ever work on. Also, don't put your finger in it. You will only make that mistake once and feel very stupid if you choose the band aid and reconsider your life choices. Don't ask me how I know that.
