Upgraded Fan for Ender 3 Pro -

I wanted to upgrade the fans on my 3D printer and came across a catch I liked that required 2 4020 fans. I chose to use them because they were 24v, just like the ones that were replaced, so I didn't have to fit buck converters. These things can move air like crazy, but the downside is that they make some noise. Not LOUD, but definitely not quiet. And not to mention these things are strong, not just airflow. I accidentally ran my thumb over the blade and it peeled off a piece of skin (print out…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Excellent smooth running and quiet powerful fans for 3D printers

Good quiet fans for cooling 3D printers. I have one that replaces the hot end fan on my Tevo Tornado. Note, however, that these fans are 20mm thick, thicker than most cheap originals. You need to check the size. They let in a lot more air and are much quieter than the factory originals. The second will find a home on my Wanhao i3Plus.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative impression

Cannot be used with printer

Wires are MUCH shorter than can be used for Ender 3 in standard motherboard layout. I don't even know how to install it because I don't have the hardware to connect it. I bought it as the reviews seemed to indicate it was a pretty easy swap. NO, THAT IS NOT SO! requires extra wire and a soldering iron to connect the short wire to the longer ones and the connector. DO NOT BUY THIS for your 3D printer unless you have at least a basic knowledge of electrical wiring. It's not just about moving the…

Wow. Small but STRONG!

Let me start by saying I have used MANY fans for many projects. All kinds of brands and all kinds of sizes... This little guy is PUCKING ASS. I was really impressed. I've ruled out either server level power but very noisy, or a quiet whisper but little airflow. Well, no, you get a 40mm wind machine that moves your hair from 3 feet away and is about as loud as the average person's whisper. It's not quiet, but in terms of performance versus volume, I'm surprised it's NOT MUCH louder. This is…

High quality fan with the best internal components

This is a high quality general purpose fan. Of course, it doesn't have long cables and comes with a pre-built connector for your 3D printer if that's what you're looking for. It is fleshy and appears to be very strong. It's not too loud and not super quiet. I bought this in preparation for the improved cooling of my new all-metal hot end and I'm sure it will do the job. My only complaint would be that the price is high here, but I think I would have paid more for shipping from somewhere else…

Good fans, not quiet, but normal.

I bought these to try and make my Creality 10-s Pro V2 a little quieter. They help compared to standard fans, but I wouldn't say they're quiet. I was hoping to avoid the more invasive 12v silent fan mod, but after installing them I'm not sure I saved myself much trouble and didn't get the results I was hoping for.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Can't remember

The workhorse of computer components

Quiet, durable, reliable. I usually leave my system running. After a while, the fans start getting excited, making noise. I tried this model after being disappointed by others. I was very pleased. He received random blows to the blades at full speed and only broke off once. It worked non-stop for over a week, turning off and on again with no noticeable difference in sound or features. The only catch is that trading is a little less fluid. But if, like me, you're just cooling your thermal block…
