Very nice case. I removed the drive from a USB 2.0 enclosure and the speed improvement was noticeable. The disc is held very firmly inside thanks to the rubber buffers on the sides. There are also rubber pads at the end of the disc, but they never touch the disc. The case lid is difficult to open, but this can be remedied by pressing on the top next to the opening while sliding the lid. The power button seems a bit superfluous to me since the drive will turn off anyway when it's idle. When you press the power button to turn on, it takes a few seconds for the blue light to turn on. This gives the impression that the switch is not working, which is very confusing. While the indicator is a good indicator of hard drive activity, it's disappointing that it stays on all the time when the computer is off. Don't think I don't like this fence. Actually, I plan to order more of these.
