Eliminates fizzing in carbonated drinks

While they go great with still drinks, they are not suitable for carbonated drinks. As soon as I dropped them in the glass they fizzed and then completely killed the fizz. I don't remember seeing this in anyone's reviews. They can be good for chilling your wine or whiskey, they just aren't good for soda, which is why I bought them to keep my drink from being diluted with slow-melting ice.
