Review on GE Lighting Proline 500 Watt Halogen by Jeanie Escobedo

I bought 2 of these boxes just in case I had a high failure rate due to the light I put them in. I bought a 500w dual halogen bulb from Harbor Freight and within a few hours one of the bulbs that came with it blew out (it looked like a nice piece of silver, not a clear bulb). Needless to say, I replaced a blown bulb (wearing gloves to keep the oil from getting on the bulb). ) with one of the GE lights, turned on the light and illuminated my work area without incident. I have been using light in the 50 degree range for 4 hours a day for about 2 weeks and everything works perfectly. The only problem I have is what to do with the other 11 lightbulbs I have! :-) UPDATE: I've been using the flashlight for about a year and had to replace another HF lamp. GE lamps were impeccable and durable! There are 10 pears left! :-)
