This thing works exactly as I expected. The instructions are bad. Why these companies don't pay native English speakers to rewrite their manuals is beyond me. Some of them are nonsensical and require some experimentation to get them working properly. The only downside I found is that it doesn't have a trigger wire for the front camera. I don't use the front camera input, but I installed a physical switch to turn on the rear camera without going into reverse. This was done before I bought this device. So there are only 2 ways to display the front camera. Either with the supplied remote control or displayed for 7 seconds (optional) after the reversing camera has been switched off. Maybe I'll add a front camera over time, but I find it strange that I can't set a switch to activate it whenever I want. Remote control is good, but cable is more reliable.
