An increase in basic protection

The case is an increase in basic protection. A fair deal for the price paid. It feels slippery, which will only result in you accidentally testing its effectiveness. The stand is positive. The top and bottom edges on the front keep the screen from touching the surface, but just barely. I added a Whitestone Dome screen protector and there was almost no edge left on the case to protect the screen. I order Otterbox Defender.
