The shape of the handle is gentle on the joints. It is pushed back, leading the hand away from the danger. The bristles of brass brushes are thin and rather sparse. This is normal for light work, e.g. B. when removing oily dirt from cracks in the mechanism. For heavy work, this brass brush isn't for you unless you're willing to throw it away after half an hour. The attached picture shows the condition of one of these brass brushes after using it for 15 minutes cleaning equipment that I have de-rusted. After another 15 minutes it was completely flat. Nylon bristle brushes are also useful. Stainless steel brush bristles hold up a little better. They are probably the best in this series.
