In order for a heatpipe cooler to function properly, there must be a temperature difference between the heated part and the heatsink. with a small temperature difference, the effect of heat pipes does not work. therefore, most coolers cannot cool the CPU below their threshold values, since, structurally, the copper tube begins to dissipate heat solely through the thermal conductivity of the metal itself, and not through the ability to transfer heat by the reagent inside the tube. Luckily, this cooler has fins that go down to the pad itself, which allows for additional heat dissipation and adds strength to the design. plus, with a certain orientation, it is able to blow over memory modules. in addition, a large, and therefore relatively quiet fan.
