The dress is cute but more of a beach dress than elegant. The pattern is slightly different in larger shades of pink, orange and white. Some people may not mind that, but for me there is a completely different style. I got the XL size which was a bit large for my 43" hips, 32" waist and 36" chest. There is elastic band around the cuffs and the material is a nice spandex blend. You will need double sided tape to attach the top as it does not lay flat and will open.
