Exactly what I needed

So we went to Yosemite a few weeks ago and when we were looking for things in the place we booked we found that none of the tents/rooms we stayed in had power outlets, just a regular lightbulb in the middle rooms. So I ordered these things and it was perfect. We simply removed the bulb and screwed in the adapter. We took an extension cord and surge protector for charging phones and other things. It turned out perfect! The only thing is that the plug is two-pronged, so the extension cord must also be two-pronged. Otherwise there were no problems.

TECHNICAL PAGE: A typical American 110V incandescent bulb has an Edison E26 base (often referred to as "standard size" in America) and is therefore screwed into an E26 socket, so you can use normal can use lightbulbs.
