Good thickness. The self healing ability shows and it's really awesome, I'm sure this pad will last a while and not only that but it doubles as a mouse pad for me because I have it on my desk. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the fact that it doesn't have non-slip feet, but that's not intentional because it has two sides, so I just used a dollar tree. pinned the poster to the blank page and pinned it to my desk. It removes easily and leaves no residue, and when I make a mess and remove it to wiggle it over the trash, it easily sticks back to my desk.
