Review on 🔧 Timorn Tachometer: Waterproof Hour Meter for Small Engine - Ideal for Chainsaw, ATV, Motorcycle & UTV Engine (Black) by Prentice Fossett

I installed this hour meter on a Briggs & Stratton powered DR chopper. Although the unit has electric start, there is no 12V switching power supply for the 12V meter so I needed my own power supply and I wanted one where I can change the battery. Installation was easy, with 8-32 screws threading through grommets on the gauge to a factory bracket attached to the chopper body. The inductive wire was quite long, so it was cut to the required length after laying it in a place where it would not be damaged. Assembly was easy thanks to the included instructions. You have several options: RPM, total hours or set hours of operation. The end product is a compact counter that allows me to keep track of the running hours. Time will tell how long the battery lasts and if the vibration is adversely affecting the meter.
