Unfortunately some, but not all, of the cables I have used have rusted after a few months. I'm really not sure why only some of them got rusty, but maybe one of the reels was defective because I bought this cable twice separately. The cable is certainly sturdy and seemed to be of decent quality aside from the rust. The cable seems to have stretched a bit over time as it started to sag a bit. I've never worked with this type of cable, so maybe that's why. Maybe there is a way to remove the rust as it seems to be on the surface. Just didn't expect that from a galvanized cable.
