I don't use this often. It has been used less than 10 times in total and will be stored in a small dust-free container, not thrown in bags, etc. It keeps losing touch with cards, especially those with a micro SD slot. The card will randomly disconnect and reconnect when securely connected. At first I thought it was a bad SD card but now it has killed multiple SD cards because I didn't realize that this device was causing the problem. Cannot be used reliably. WILL KILL/DAMAGE YOUR SD CARDS. You know that feeling when someone says something has paid off multiple times? This device is the other way around: it used to only cost a few dollars, but now costs ten times more because it kills SD cards and has to get replacements. I am also unable to get a refund/replacement as the warranty has expired. I don't use it often and apparently that's my fault. Avoid Avoid Avoid
