I chose 30-33" for my Heartland North Trail trailer. It has dual axles and the tire clearance is pretty wide. The tire size on my trailer is 225/75R15. All in all when I measured the diameter of both tires, from the edge of one tire to the other, it was about 70 inches. When I received the covers they fit really well and there was a bit of room but I was able to easily press the covers tight against the tires and hide any excess material. The cases look great and make a very high quality impression. I didn't use a rubber band to secure the covers around the tires. They fit well enough that I don't think bungee cords are needed unless it might be very windy. I would definitely recommend them.
