It was fairly easy to assemble. However, killing the ants was a nightmare. I have angry RED ants. I followed the chilling instructions to make the ants move more slowly, making it easier to place them in the nest. It did not work! As soon as I opened the cap of the tube, they flew everywhere! I had ants on the table and on the floor. Some really got into the anthill. I lost about half the ants from the pipe they got into because they escaped. The surviving ants were hungry! I put a few peeled orange pieces in her enclosure. They drank juice for a while. I felt bad for her. My suggestion would be to bring your own ants outside if you get it.
