Review on Brentwood Replacement Coupling Osterizer Blenders by Jeff Alradwan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Saved my blender!

The rubber cylinder is an intentional weak point in the mixer drive that is designed to break before you shut off the engine. Well, it worked when I stuffed in an oversized bar of soap (okay, it was quite a bar) while making homemade laundry soap. Anyway, it showed up within a week of ordering and it took me maybe 20 minutes to fix it once I figured out where the heck my flimsy sockets were. This repair job is definitely housewifely when you have Mrs. Goodwrench in you. Just use your common sense and lay out the parts carefully so when you put it back together it's clear where they came from. I would recommend a long magnetic stick for this project (NOT that I dropped the screws into the bottom of the blender about 8 times...) The $6 part saved my $75 blender. Oh, order some... you most likely won't learn from the first time you broke a blender, and ever will again.
