Bought to weigh my refrigerant when I opened it a few months later the battery was dead. I swapped out the battery for a new one the night before and made sure it was powered off before putting it back in its case the next morning. Came into sight and the battery was dead again. Luckily I had a spare battery with me. Something is draining the battery even when it's off. I wouldn't recommend this unless you need to replace the battery every time you need to use it or remove the battery when not in use.
