Review on πŸ“Ί SeaWatch Marine TV Antenna (4-inch) by Shakespeare 3004 by Djkutt Kent

Really works! - TV antennas

I have tried most of the antenna types that are offered. They are all bad for home use and even worse for a boat other than this one. On a hook with most antennas I look for channels and then find about 10 channels. We're usually line of sight to New York, so a range of 25 miles is more than enough to expect some reception. A typical problem, the woman starts watching the program, and the tide changes or the wind blows, and we are directed the other way - the signal is gone. The plane flies overhead, the signal is gone. Someone mentioned hearing good things about this antenna so I gave it a try yesterday. Impressed. Just put it on the rudder without a mast, 40 channels will be reported. Everything seemed to be there. No tidal problems, little interference from aircraft. I made a permanent installation and now my happy wife is enjoying life. I have ordered another one. It will be interesting to have a boat antenna at home.
