I used some industrial green mats like this one. I also used the typical Scott brand. They surprised me as they were thinner than what I was also using. Not sure how long they will last. They seem to be holding onto the particles too much. Don't think about scrubbing cut lettuce, you will pick out very long particles from the scrubber. Such a waste of time using them on something that hasn't been washed yet. One of the main benefits of a "green scrubber" is the removal of black stains on pots and burn marks on ceramic surfaces. Not this one. Better to buy 3 packs of scotch, at least they work. Thought about a return.
