Support for this brace is very good. actually I bought two; one with lateral stabilizers and the other model with double metal hinges. I ended up with flexible side stabilizers again. with tongues for putting on the orthosis; Although the support was very good, when I finished my workout and wanted to take this brace off to freeze my knee, the take off was VERY VERY! I had trouble taking it off because it was very tight. and YES, I had my knee measured as they instructed for a proper fit. What I don't understand is that if they designed a clip with tabs to help you move the bracelet why can't they provide tabs to pull it out from the bottom. As a result, the lateral stabilizers have started to protrude from the bottom of the brace and are about to break out of the bottom seam. If you wait for the sweat to dry, the brace will start to itch. You cannot simply fold the brace down and remove it like you could with non-velcro braces. Because of the waist straps and side stabilizers, you have to take it off the same way you put it on. much luck! it's really a bear to remove. Shock doc - Place the tabs on the bottom of the brace and this brace gets a 5 star rating.
