When researching batteries for my laptop, a lot of reviews said that the renewed battery would return it to its previous performance. That was not true in this case. The battery is much better than the 7 year old battery it replaced. But I was really hoping to find the same kind of all-day performance that the factory original had continued to deliver until just a few months prior to it finally going bad. The new battery has never lived up to that standard. Now, I didn't do statistical measurements or time trials. This is all just my impression. It doesn't seem to hold its charge nearly as well as the original did for the first six years I had it. Bottom line: I paid $50 bucks for a battery that works about as well as an original that has 4-5 years of use. It's not awful. It was easy to install, and it worked immediately. But it doesn't hold a charge as long as it should. I'll use it for perhaps another year and see how it goes. But I'll try another brand next time.
