Review on SGEYR 5X1 HDMI Switcher: Choose From 5 Devices With Ease & 4K Ultra HD Support by Brian Evans

I bought this product twice. I have a 2021 65 inch LG 4K OLED Smart TV, a PS5, PS4, XB1, Switch, and a NUC. When I connected all 5 to the switcher, the switch kept turning off. My original thought was that the device wad damaged when I moved, so I bought another. Both have the same issue. Constant power cycles on the device due to lack of power to support HDMI 2.0+ standards.The 1.4 compliance and power draw couldn't keep up with several of the consoles. If I removed all but the PS4 and XB1 then it would work. This scenario is similar to my previous setup, which was a 2018 Vizio 4K with PS4, PSTV, PS1 Classic, Pi 3b, and Wii U hooked up.This device performs well for older setups. It's not the best option as technology advances, however. You buy one of these to hook up many systems to a limited number of ports on your TV. The device's compliance should be updated to accommodate people in 2022, and it should really have more than just a USB-A power supply interface.
