Before buying this office chair I used a stabilizing ball for my desk. I liked to "exercise" next to work, but during the day it made my back very tired. I wanted a chair that could easily slide under my desk (ie have armrests) as well as a comfortable chair. Wooden table and this chair is very beautiful and stylish. Pros: - stylish - easy to assemble - durable (my friend is almost 200lbs) and I agree it's a great chair - easy to clean (we have a dog and you can wipe any dirt right off your skin) Cons :- I really love armrests so wish they were - no way to recline
