A little small for an adult cat
My cat likes the scratching post enough but he is a big guy and he cannot stretch out as much as he would like because the post is a bit shorter. Also, in the few months I've had it, I've had to tighten the screw on the bottom a number of times as it loosened a bit with wear. However, assembly was very easy!
