You can charge this and put it in a dark place and it will turn on when you approach the area. It has too many uses to mention and it fits in a purse and fanny pack. I don't have a fanny pack, but I keep it in my backpack because the kids keep turning off the porch lights at night and I can't see my key in the door lock. Then I put it in a dark place between the dining room and the living room for the night. It comes with a USB cable for charging anywhere. Built-in motion sensor!
