I love this lamp: Ceiling fans and accessories

This is a very nice lamp. Easy to install, was told a 6 out of 10, 10 very difficult. But it seemed to me that it was more like 3. He grew up pretty quickly. The instructions state that if you want the shortest extension, don't use the extension we tried first. As a result, the mechanics above the fan were of course exposed to dust and me. I didn't like it at all as it ruined the elegant look of this lamp. You can see the switch to change the direction of the lamp is under the top cover so you have to lift the cover to change the direction switch which is awkward for me should it be the remote and not the lamp ( under the cover). Also, it looked very short apart from exposed wires and such that looked really bad. So we had to uninstall and reinstall it. It was very nice to look close to the ceiling, it made the room seem bigger. But this open mechanic looked stupid. So I would say that this is a serious aesthetic design flaw. So it looks great with the longer extension (e.g. like in the picture). The LED light is very bright in the brightest light but I'm not sure I like the quality of the light, sort of cool white light and glare when you look to dim it. Now it looks great and you can't hear it AT ALL! A 5 star rating would be if I could mount it closer to the ceiling without sacrificing aesthetics and/or functionality.
