I used two of these to make some lifelines for my sailboat. It's less than half the price of Dyneema at the marine store and appears to be of similar quality. It's supple and easy to splice. It comes with a length of protective sleeve which I cut into short pieces for chafe protection where the rope passes through the stanchions. It's rated strength is nearly twice that of the stainless cable safety line that it replaced so even if the UV degrades it somewhat over time, it should still be plenty strong. I've got couple of pieces left over to make soft shackles or whatever out of.
